[Night echo]
[4]. I’m sorry for the losses you have experienced, Arisyn. 💛✨
It can be so hard to feel that we are alone and our feelings don’t make sense.
I’d like to share a story with you:
My friend had just lost her mother when she came to me for help. She was feeling very hurt and angry, but she also felt confused. I asked my friend if there were any times in the past where she felt this way before?
She said yes. The first time she remembered feeling this sadness was when she’d lost a pet. It had been a difficult experience for her then too. She remembered how much it helped her to talk about that loss with someone who understood what she was going through at the time, and I suggested we try talking together now as well.
When I asked my friend if there were any other times where she felt like this before? She said yes again…and so on until eventually our conversation turned into a memory-making session where we talked about all kinds of losses over the years – big ones like deaths or breakups, but also small ones like moving house or changing jobs etc.
When you’re feeling lonely and alone it can help to know that others have felt this way too before.
It can be hard sometimes, but sharing stories is one way we connect with each other when things get tough. 💛✨
[5]. I love your courage in the face of grief. It’s so important for people to know that they are not alone, and you have shown us all how much strength can be found within ourselves by sharing what has happened with others who care about us. Thank you! 💛✨
[6]. You are not alone in your grief and sadness. I’m here to listen if you need someone. 💛✨
Arisyn, it is a privilege to be here with you today. I hope that this experience will bring us closer together as we walk through life together. Thank you for being part of my community and for sharing your story! 💛✨
