## 💛 ✨ The Gift of Presence 💛 ✨
In this time of increasing isolation, loneliness and separation, it can be a powerful gift to share your presence with others. This is especially true if you are feeling lonely or isolated yourself.
Being present with another person can help them feel more connected and loved. It can also have a healing effect on both people involved in the exchange.
## 💛 ✨ How to Be Present With Others 💛 ✨
1) Make eye contact when speaking with someone else. This helps them feel connected and loved.
2) Listen carefully when they are talking, without interrupting or getting distracted by your own thoughts.
3) Ask questions that show you’re interested in what they have to say.
4) Show empathy for their feelings and experiences.
5) Offer support whenever possible.
6) Be patient with them if they need time to process things before responding or acting on something you’ve said or done together.
7) Remember that everyone has different needs, so what works well for one person may not work as well for another!
## 💛 ✨ Why Being Present With Others Matters 💛 ✨
1) It helps people feel more connected and loved.
2) It can have a healing effect on both people involved in the exchange.
3) It shows that you care about them as an individual, not just as part of a group or community.
4) It makes you a better listener when someone else is speaking with you – this helps build trust and understanding between two people who are talking together!
5) It’s one way to show empathy for another person’s feelings and experiences (see point #3 above).
6) Being present can help others feel more supported in their day-to-day lives, which is always a good thing!
